Spring Flood on S. Fk. Poorman Creek

The video shows flooding in May 2018 on a section of the South Fork of Poorman Creek near its confluence with the North Fork.  The channel of this section of creek had been re-build and planted in 2003 after damage caused by historic placer mining.  As can be seen in the video, because the channel was reconstructed to its correct dimensions and the stream was allowed to access its floodplain, little erosion occurred and the channel stayed intact.
